So, what can I do?
Use Your Voice
As you learn about global issues and needs, spread the word. Education and awareness are quite possibly the most powerful form of change. We can't engage something, that we know nothing about. In addition to needs and issues, tell people about this movement and encourage them to get involved. Use your voice...spread the word.
Use Your Finances
Simply put; money makes a difference. Whether you choose to fund an entire water project or buy a t-shirt at one of our events, every dollar makes a difference and enables us to expand our impact; both domestically and globally.
Use Your Talents
Each and every one of us have a unique set of skills and abilities that can be used to impact someone else. Whether a talented web-designer or geologist, I Am Change longs to be a place that is empowering people to use what they have within them, to better serve those around them.
Some Ideas:
-Host a house party. Invite friends over to your place, or someone else's, and host a night of entertainment and education. Good food, great fun and powerful conversation....a formula for success!
-Pick one day a week you go without a latte (or pick whatever), and take the $ you would have spent on those latte's (or items of your choosing) at the end of the month, and donate it to I Am Change for those in need.
-Buy a T-Shirt and wear it. Become a walking billboard.
-Share your story. Our stories are the very thing that will inspire others to join the movement.
