Overview

Approximately half of our world lives on less than $2/day. 1.1 Billion people have no access to clean water: that's basically 1 in every 6 people in our world. 854 million people are without the basic needs of food and nourishment. The USA alone possesses almost 50% of the world's wealth and houses only 5% of the world's population. With great wealth and influence, comes great responsibity. The question: what will we do with it?

Each and every day in our world, people (that's mothers, sisters, brothers, fathers, children, friends) are suffering and dying at the hands of issues and atrocities that have the potential to be stopped. The problem with potential is its dormant and sometimes latent nature. This potential must be awakened. So, the question we pose, is "when will these issues end?". The answer; when are you ready for them to end? i am change exists to challenge individuals with a statement: "step outside yourself". And as you do, we ask that you join us in engaging the world's greatest needs head on.

i am change understands the reality that one heart, one set of hands, one dream, one person...can really impact this world in powerful ways. Whether it's a family gathering to discuss issues that affect the planet or a trip to a third-world country to bring humanitarian aid to those dying of a merciless disease, we dream of seeing people embrace change in any of its various forms.

We don't believe that it is the sole responsibility of governments to provide funding and change legislation in order to hope things change. Governments and legislation are making an incredible impact, and global change won't be logistically possible without the involvement of both. But at the foundation of every government, organization and institution, stands an individual. We believe that if we (as individuals) can begin to see this world through a lens of compassion and mercy, our own personal agendas will look radically different. World change is going to take involvement and many resources...and the first response in any of these issues should come from us as people...we are the solution.

The world is watching...and right now they are waiting...waiting for us to respond with a heart of love, mercy, redemption, grace, and justice.
